Thumb, not toolbox

Switchgear

New across the 2027 Enduro range: a slimmer start/stop switch on the right, and on the left the optional Map Select switch. Map 1 is linear and predictable for slick roots and mud; Map 2 is sharper when the grip is there. Chosen with a thumb, on the move.

Set it on the stand

Tool-free adjustability

PDS at the rear with hand-adjustable high- and low-speed compression; fork clickers on the shoe and the top cap, also by hand. A change takes the time it takes to twist them — between special tests, not between weekends.

Breathe, don't drink

Air filter box

Inlet ducts placed for maximum airflow and minimum water; an enduro-specific splash guard under the airbox stops the rear wheel feeding it mud. The Twin Air filter sits on a fail-proof mount — in and out without tools, at the side of the trail.

Built like a tank

Transparent fuel tank

Nine litres of XPE polythene you can read at a glance, raced from the GNCC to the hardest FIM hard enduros. A one-piece pump and filter unit manages the supply, the filter is reachable for a quick service, and a protection cap keeps dirt and sticks off the fuel connector.

Every two-stroke innovation of the big bikes in the smallest case: rotating mass centralised for a light, agile feel, Keihin 39 mm throttle body injection that reads water and air temperature, pressure, revs and throttle to keep the mixture right, and separate oil injection — no premix. Six speeds, DS clutch with Brembo hydraulics.

Clearance, not scrape marks

Exhaust

The compact engine lets the header pipe tuck higher: more clearance over roots, ruts and rock steps, and less chance of a dent ending the day. The silencer is lightweight aluminium.

Cap off, top up

Cooling

A radiator cap with a standard thread opens quickly for top-ups between tests. A radiator fan is available as an option for the slow, hot stuff.

Lift the seat, read the lights

Offroad Control Unit

The OCU replaces every fuse and relay. Outputs are switched by the ECU and the regulator; an over-current shuts down the one circuit affected, and a red or green LED tells you which. Diagnosing an electrical fault on the trail means lifting the seat — not carrying spare fuses.

Press, go

Electric start

A 2 Ah lithium-ion battery and a proven starter: reliable starts, time after time. The harness puts most of the electrics under the seat, where you can reach them.

A frame tuned for feedback, PDS at the rear and a closed-cartridge fork — the enduro chassis that has been winning for decades.

Frame

Gloss-orange powder-coated 25CrMo4 steel, engineered for longitudinal rigidity: feedback, energy absorption and stability at speed. Rotating masses repositioned, a forged steering-head connection, slim footrest mounts that don't hook — and a forged one-piece side stand for when the ride is over.

Bends, doesn't break

Subframe

Two-part polyamide and reinforced aluminium with its rigidity engineered by simulation. It carries the electronics without extra brackets or holders, and in a crash it flexes rather than snaps.

Closed cartridge, open hands

WP XACT closed-cartridge fork

48 mm with optimised oil flow for fast, consistent damping; protection rings keep dirt out of the seals. Compression and rebound adjusted by hand, no tools.

An LED that lights the trail, a front end that stays calm at speed, and a body built for standing up.

Serious illumination

LED headlight

An LED unit in a light mask that also shields the triple clamp from roost. No rubber straps, so it stays where it was fitted. Riding in the dark stops being a guess.

Rock-solid at speed

Stability

A repositioned, forged steering-head connection and CNC-milled aluminium triple clamps: tuned stem stiffness, perfectly aligned fork tubes, precise clamp geometry. Smooth fork action in the tight stuff and no headshake in the flat-out tests.

Stand up, lock in

Ergonomics

A rider triangle built for standing: more knee contact, grip surfaces all round, a flat seat with a high-grip cover, and plastics shaped to throw mud off rather than carry it. The polyamide subframe adds feel at the rear.

Premium manufacturer's warranty

Offroad bikes from model year 2027 carry up to 1 year of manufacturer coverage. It stays valid with intended use and scheduled services at an authorised KTM dealer, under the standard conditions on the delivery certificate. Every bike NTG supplies is new and comes with that certificate.
