GASGAS
MC 50

2027 · Good times start here.

The smallest two-stroke GASGAS makes, and it looks like the big ones: an automatic clutch, WP suspension, hydraulic brakes and ergonomics that adjust as the kid grows. Built to be grown into, and to last while they do. Available through NTG for teams and resellers, EU-wide.

01.Style

All red, flat seat, four bar positions, ODI grips for small hands.

3 features
2027 GASGAS MC 50 — Bodywork

Scaled, not shrunk

Bodywork

All red, and shaped like the big bikes. Larger contact areas let a small rider grip the bike with the legs for control, and a flatter seat profile lets them move fore and aft without a step in the way — which matters most for the shorter riders in the class.

2027 GASGAS MC 50 — Adjustable ergonomics

Find the right fit

Adjustable ergonomics

Built to fit more than one size of rider. The bodywork and subframe mount in a high or a low position, the WP shock does the same, and the handlebars can be installed four different ways. Set it up for the rider at the start of the season and again halfway through, instead of buying a new bike.

2027 GASGAS MC 50 — Handlebars

Get a grip

Handlebars

A modern bar bend designed to help a kid ride with proper technique — elbows up, weight forward — rather than a cut-down adult bar. Slim-profile ODI grips for small hands: comfort, less fatigue, and a proper hold on the bars, which is where control starts.

02.Frame

Chromoly steel with a geometry made for kids, and a hybrid subframe that moves with the rider.

2027 GASGAS MC 50 — Frame & subframe

Built tough, adjustable

Frame & subframe

Chromoly steel frame with a geometry made for kids — stable in a straight line, easy to turn, and tough enough for the crashes that come with learning. The hybrid subframe (polyamide glass fibre and steel) is light, durable and height-adjustable, which is what lets the seat height move with the rider.

03.Suspension

35 mm WP XACT AER, a fully adjustable shock and a cast swingarm — nothing here is a toy part.

3 features
2027 GASGAS MC 50 — WP XACT AER fork

Pumped up

WP XACT AER fork

35 mm WP XACT AER fork with an air cartridge — real damping and control for a rider who is starting to pick up the pace. It soaks up the big bumps without deflecting, and because the spring is air, the pressure is set for rider weight and track with a pump rather than a spring change. 165 mm of travel.

2027 GASGAS MC 50 — WP XACT shock

Fully adjustable

WP XACT shock

WP XACT shock, fully adjustable like the big bikes: preload, rebound, and both high- and low-speed compression. That means the bike can be set up for the rider's size and style — and set up again as they get heavier and faster — rather than the rider having to adapt to the bike.

2027 GASGAS MC 50 — Swingarm

Big-bike tech

Swingarm

Die-cast aluminium swingarm designed to work with the flex characteristics of the frame — big-bike technology at 65 and 50 scale. The chain slider has a rounded profile, so when the ruts get deep the bike glides through them instead of hooking up.

04.Motor

A compact two-stroke with a broad powerband, a Dell'Orto carb, a seamless pipe and an automatic clutch that lasts.

4 features
2027 GASGAS MC 50 — Engine

Broad and usable

Engine

The crankshaft sits close to the centre of gravity, which is where the light, easy handling comes from, and everything else in the engine is designed around power delivery. The result is a very broad powerband — forgiving for a first-timer, and enough for the fast kid. 49.9 cm³, 39.5 mm bore, 40.7 mm stroke, in a 43.5 kg bike.

2027 GASGAS MC 50 — Carburettor

The heart

Carburettor

A 19 mm Dell'Orto PHBG 19 BS carburettor with the jetting worked out for this engine, so the 50 runs clean through its whole rev range from the crate. A simple, well-known part that any dealer can service and any parent can learn.

2027 GASGAS MC 50 — Exhaust

Seamless inside

Exhaust

Built the same way as the bigger two-stroke pipes: the welding seams are removed from the inside so the gas flow is unrestricted and the engine makes full power across the rev range. A tight seal between the front pipe and the silencer keeps the gases going the right way.

2027 GASGAS MC 50 — Automatic clutch

Race-matic

Automatic clutch

An automatic clutch with a strong basket and quality plates that does two things: puts the power to the ground, and lasts. Wider transmission shafts in the updated gearbox take durability up another step — consistent performance for the rider, and a little peace of mind for whoever is paying for the parts.

05.Parts

Hydraulic brakes on wavy discs, forged clamps, one big radiator and Maxxis rubber.

4 features
2027 GASGAS MC 50 — Brakes

Stopping power

Brakes

Hydraulic brakes with wavy discs front and rear — 160 mm each — that shed heat quickly and give consistent braking every lap. The rear brake pedal now has the same tip as the full-size bikes, so a small boot finds it and uses it properly.

2027 GASGAS MC 50 — Triple clamps

In line

Triple clamps

Forged triple clamps that hold the WP fork legs perfectly in line so the suspension works unrestricted, with a calculated amount of flex for comfort and stability. A 17 mm top nut secures the upper clamp and seals water and dirt away from the steering bearings — longer between services.

2027 GASGAS MC 50 — Wheels and tyres

Rip 'n go

Wheels and tyres

Lightweight, strong wheels on black-anodised rims, wrapped in Maxxis MaxxCross MX-ST tyres. Grip on the widest range of surfaces and a predictable feel, which is what a young rider needs to trust the front end — and a set of wheels that stays true through a season of hard landings.

2027 GASGAS MC 50 — Radiator

Stay cool

Radiator

One radiator, not two: a clean hose layout, efficient cooling and less to maintain. It keeps the 50 at the right temperature however rough the track gets, sits where a fall is least likely to reach it, and the pre-ride coolant check takes a few seconds.
