Full-size bodywork logic, a filter you change by hand, ODI grips for small hands.

Scaled, not shrunk

Bodywork

Bodywork scaled down from the full-size bikes, with the same proven ergonomics. Larger contact points let a small rider grip the bike with the legs for control, and a flat seat profile lets them move fore and aft without a step in the way.

Seat off, filter out

Airbox

Air filter changes are fast and clean: pull the quick-release seat by hand and the airbox is open. A snap-lock mount stops the filter dropping dirt into the intake, and the Twin Air filter has a large surface area for airflow.

Get a grip

Handlebars & grips

High-quality black-anodised aluminium bars that damp vibration and add stability, in a wide bend that gives comfort and puts the rider in the right position on the bike. Thin-diameter ODI grips for small hands — a proper hold on the bars is where control starts.

Slim and full

Fuel tank

A slim tank fitted to the frame inside the ergonomic bodywork, so the bike stays narrow between the knees and there is nothing for a boot to snag on. Approximately 4.5 litres of capacity — enough for a full day of club motos without a refuel between them, and quick to top up when there is.

Find the right fit

Adjustable ergonomics

Built to fit more than one size of rider. Four handlebar positions, a rear shock that moves from its standard high position to a lower setting, and a subframe and bodywork that mount in two places. Set it up for the rider at the start of the season and again halfway through.

Built tough

Frame

Chromium-molybdenum steel with precise geometry and calculated flex. The shock is not tied to the upper frame tube, so less energy goes through the chassis and the bike is more stable. Textured frame protectors give grip and keep the dark-blue metallic powder coat looking new.

Hybrid, adjustable

Subframe

Polyamide reinforced with glass fibre plus steel bars: a hybrid subframe that is light, robust and reliable. It plays a real part in how the bike handles, and it adjusts in height to match the rider — so the seat height moves with the kid, and the bike lasts more than one season.

In line

Forged triple clamps

Forged triple clamps that keep the fork legs aligned so the WP suspension works as intended. The upper clamp seals dirt and water away from the steering bearings — longer between services — and the flex is calculated without losing stability.

35 mm WP XACT with an air spring, a fully adjustable shock and a cast swingarm.

WP XACT fork

35 mm WP XACT USD fork — very light, with the damping and comfort that let a young rider commit to the rough stuff. The air spring in the left leg is set with the supplied pump for rider weight and track, and the fork gives 215 mm of travel.

Fully adjustable

WP XACT shock

WP XACT shock mounted directly to the swingarm, with race-tested settings for exceptional damping. Preload, high- and low-speed compression and rebound are all adjustable, so the shock can be tailored to any rider — and re-tailored as they get heavier and faster — rather than the other way round.

14 mm axle

Swingarm

Hollow die-cast aluminium swingarm made from a single piece for optimal stiffness, with a 14 mm rear axle chosen to match the flex characteristics of the frame. The chain guard and chain slider are designed to stop mud building up around the arm — less weight to carry through a wet moto, less to wear.

A pressure-controlled exhaust valve, six manual speeds, a Mikuni carb and a DS clutch — the real thing, at 65 cc.

Power valve

Cylinder & piston

Light, durable aluminium cylinder with a Pressure Controlled Exhaust Valve (PCEV) — the part that spreads the power across the rev range and gives a young rider a real advantage off the corner instead of a wait for the pipe. Unrivalled performance in the class, and the reason the 65 is easy to ride fast.

Transmission

Six-speed gearbox with proven ratios developed specifically for the TC 65, built with a proven production process for maximum durability. This is the gearbox a rider learns to shift on — it needs to be forgiving of a missed change, and it needs to last the season while they learn.

The heart

Carburettor

A proven 24 mm Mikuni carburettor with the jetting calculated for this engine, exhaust and intake. It runs clean through the rev range from the factory settings, and every mechanic in the paddock knows how to set one — simple, dependable, and easy to keep right.

Seamless inside

Exhaust system

Welding seams removed from the inside so the exhaust gas has nothing to trip over, and a laser-cut flange gasket for a proper seal. The silencer end cap seals tighter than before, in a black-anodised finish. Maximum power from the same engine, and a pipe that stays sealed.

Full-size clutch tech

DS clutch

A diaphragm-spring (DS) clutch in a steel basket, straight from full-size motorcycle technology: the spring compensates for wear as the plates go, so the feel stays the same. With Formula hydraulic actuation, the bite point is consistent lap after lap — which is what a rider needs to learn clutch control.

Stopping power

Brakes

Hydraulically operated Formula callipers on a 198 mm waved front disc and a 180 mm waved rear. Reliable, confidence-inspiring braking that a small hand can modulate, and a forged rear brake pedal with the same tip as the full-size bikes for control under the boot.

Stay cool

Radiators

Two radiators in the same design as the full-size Husqvarna motocross bikes, with simplified hose routing and strong radiator protectors for performance and durability. A threaded cap makes the coolant check before each ride a ten-second job — no tools, no excuses.

Rip 'n go

Wheels & tyres

Lightweight aluminium hubs laced with strong spokes to black-anodised aluminium rims — a reliable set of wheels that stays true through a season of hard landings. Maxxis Maxxcross MX-ST tyres give excellent traction and predictability across a wide range of surfaces, which is what a young rider needs to trust the bike.

Offroad bikes from model year 2027 carry up to 1 year of manufacturer coverage. It stays valid with intended use and scheduled services at an authorised Husqvarna Motorcycles dealer, under the standard conditions on the delivery certificate. Every bike NTG supplies is new and comes with that certificate.
