Launch Control as standard on a 390 Duke: with Track mode selected and the throttle wide open, the engine holds 7 000 rpm and waits for the clutch.

04.All-in agility

A 320 mm disc with a four-piston WP caliper and cornering ABS, a two-piece frame with an off-centre shock, a curved cast swingarm and lightweight wheels in Michelin rubber.

A 320 mm front disc with a new four-piston radial WP FCR4 caliper — bigger discs for lower temperatures, better fade resistance and pad life — and a 240 mm rear disc with a single-piston WP RCF4 caliper. Cornering ABS and Supermoto ABS as standard.

Two pieces, off-centre shock

Frame

A steel trellis main frame with a pressure die-cast aluminium subframe. The shock mounts off-centre to make room for a larger airbox and a lower seat — and the frame is tuned for torsional rigidity, agility and feedback.

Swingarm

A curved cast aluminium swingarm with a direct, side-offset shock mount for the racy look — and the space it frees for the new silencer.
