Two plugs, 42 mm valves

Cylinder head

A compact SOHC four-valve head with 42 mm intake and 34 mm exhaust valves on a rocker-arm system for precise timing at high revs. Twin spark plugs with individually controlled timing for clean combustion and fuel economy.

Ride-by-wire throttle

Keihin EFI with a 50 mm throttle body and no mechanical link to the grip: the EMS compares engine parameters with sensor data continuously and sets the valve — smooth, responsive delivery.

Spin when you need it

Dynamic Slip Adjust

A button on the TFT in the optional Rally mode: Dynamic Slip Adjust temporarily lowers the MTC level for more rear-wheel spin on a muddy patch or a steep climb, without cutting power — then returns to your setting once traction is back.

Road, offroad, off

Brakes

Bosch ABS with road and offroad settings, a two-piston floating Brembo caliper on a 300 mm front disc and a single-piston Brembo on a 240 mm rear — and a bar-mounted button to disengage ABS completely.
